To integrate VALD ForceDecks and/or ForceFrame data in your testing and screening - for Talent identification & development, Rehab & prevention for athletes or Rehab for patients, a few steps need to be taken. After this, all future test data - or at least the most important metrics - will be available for matched athletes.

Check this article to find out which tests and parameters are supported.

Step 1: Contact VALD

Get in touch with and ask them to give API access to Hylyght.

Step 2: Contact Hylyght

Get in touch with to link the API to your Hylyght account.

Step 3: Match persons

Add your athletes to VALD and to Hylyght with the same name and date of birth so you can easily match them:

  • Go to Athletes - Athletes

  • Click the three dots menu and choose 'Link persons with Vald integration' Person%20match

  • Confirm pre-matched athletes - based on name and date of birth

  • Search for athletes that couldn't be pre-matched - this is because the name and/or DOB is different.

Step 4: Measure

Create a session and add the VALD tests you want to include - as well as all the other tests. Make sure to select the 'VALD' version of the tests.

Do your VALD tests. For all matched persons, you can find the overview of the last VALD tests under 'input data' - at the person card: Data%20overview%20in%20person

Step 5: Select results and add to your Hylyght session

In your session you can fill out all results as usual. For the VALD tests you can select the trial you want to add from a dropdown. The dropdown shows the last available results chronologically.

For jumps you select the jump height (the best one, or one of the other trials) and associated parameters to that trial (like contraction time, RSI modified etc) will automatically be added as well. Save the session and your done! Fetch%20results
