seca TRU integration

Body composition measurements for tracking fat mass, lean mass and body water over time. Connect your seca TRU device to Hylyght so body composition results are linked to the right profile and stored automatically for follow-up, reporting and longitudinal analysis.

How it works

You need an active Hylyght license, a connected seca TRU device and a supported barcode scanner. This setup is especially useful for organisations that want a structured way to collect body composition data and keep it linked to the correct person profile.

Step 1 – Connect your device

Order a seca TRU device and a supported barcode scanner, make sure the device is online, and contact Hylyght to connect the setup to your account. Once connected, the device is ready to be used in your Hylyght measurement flow.

Step 2 – Identify the person

Create a QR code in Hylyght for every athlete or patient you want to measure. Scan the person’s QR code before the measurement so the body composition data are linked to the correct person profile.

Step 3 – Measure and store results

Perform the body composition measurement on the connected seca TRU device. Hylyght stores the results automatically on the person’s profile so they can be used in follow-up, monitoring and broader assessment workflows.

Who uses this integration?

This integration is built for organisations that want body composition data as part of their assessment and follow-up processes. Sports clubs, academies and clinics can use it to collect repeated measurements in a structured way and keep them in one central platform.

In Hylyght, body composition data are especially useful in the following solution areas:

Why use seca TRU with Hylyght?

seca TRU data flows directly into a single profile for each person inside Hylyght. That means less manual handling, more consistent repeat measurements, and body composition data that stay next to the rest of the person’s testing history.
